How to ride The Wave Street Surfing Board. Video Included!

For my birthday my mom sent me a Street Surfing board called "the wave". This thing was pretty hard to get used riding at first. When I started I actually started pushing off with the board heading in the wrong direction. (the board was backwards It actually has a front and back) Innocent mistake right? These boards have two wheels that swivel 360° and are self propelled. Mom Thanks for a sweet gift! Check out this Wave Street Surfing Video to see how it works...

How to ride "The Wave"

  1. Place dominant foot on the front of the board perpendicular to the direction you are heading. (Goofy or Regular foot to the front)

  2. Use your other leg to push off leading with your dominant foot

  3. Place weak foot on the bag panel of street surfing wave and try to propel in a snake-like manner

  4. Use your front foot to guide and your back foot to propel and accelerate the board.

TIPS

  • Don't be timid. The more momentum you can get then the easier it will be to ride & better balance you will have

  • Slightly bend your knees and keep more weight on the front panel

  • When you get balanced and comfortable then you can start to swivel the front and back panels together moving like a snake

  • I keep my legs/feet stiff and do the hula dance with my hips. It helps grind harder into the pavement and I accelerate faster.

  • Buy Replacement wheels. They will come in handy! I replaced my wheels with pink ones...

  • Have fun.
